Daniel McKelvey is interested in the solar industry and solar energy technology as an entrepreneur with passions for knowledge, education, and innovative technology.
With a passion for education and expanding his knowledge base, Daniel McKelvey is always thinking about the future and ways new technologies will impact the world, the environment, and society as a whole. One technology he is particularly interested in is solar energy.
Solar and other renewable energy projects like wind farms are being looked at more and more as effective solutions to many challenges our society is currently facing with electricity costs, access to clean water, and dependence on imported fossil fuels and other decentralized resources.
When we look at today’s society, nearly everything has become wireless. Right in our own pockets we have advanced, computer-like devices that give us access to nearly endless information and the ability to communicate wirelessly to people all across the globe.
Daniel McKelvey has considered this concept as it relates to solar energy. Why stay plugged in if there are more effective ways of obtaining the resources we need?
With his work in education and educational technology Daniel McKelvey emphasizes the importance of continuously seeking knowledge and populating our brains with new information. If we try to live just off the knowledge and information we already have, we will quickly become obsolete.
It is the same with technology. Developing new ways to take advantage of renewable energy sources is essential to the growth, improvement, and sustainability of our society.
With his interest in solar energy technology Daniel McKelvey has completed extensive research and has worked on numerous projects related to the solar industry. He currently a member of the Solar Energies Industry Association (SEIA). SEIA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the solar industry through advocacy and education.
While working on these solar energy projects, Daniel McKelvey hopes to make a positive impact on society and the world around him as constantly seek to grow and adapt and rethink how to best obtain the things we need for the future.
